What I've been up to?

Horror & Tease Show!! It was held at Halloween..well almost at Halloween..a week earlier than the real thing, at 27.10. All the ghoul ones gathered at Klubi and enjoyed some burlesque and freak show that was brought to the people by varioius artists..all produced by the beautiful Olivia Rouge.

During the evening the stage was occupied by:

I did the pick up with the gorgeus Elisa Day. Elisa already arrived the evening before, so we could plan the next day...in the morning we started to do our make up (which took a suprisingly long time!) and hair....just in time to get going to Klubi and see all the run throughs and discuss with the performers before the doors opened to the audience...

A little shadow was over my head, and body, all evening..I was having a 38 degree fever through the day and evening..already had the night before..so I couldn't enjoy the refresments backstage or be my "normal" self..I tried to do my thing as well as possible on stage, but off stage I was tired. I say TIRED!! It would have propably been possible to fry eggs on my cheeks, they were so hot! Gladly the freak show boys had some medicin (surprise there?!) and thanks to them, I could go through the evening.. so thanks boys!!

Fever or not, I was excited to meet the amazing Anna Fur Laxis in the flesh and even see her perform for the first time EVER!! I mean, I've seen video footage, but her doing her thing live....WAU. Besides Olivia, she has been my inspiration and an idol for...since I found burlesque.. I even had the guts to tell her that, and I got a picture with her!! YAY!!!

All the numbers were astounding, and the Halloween was a good one. I left for home and my bed quite soon after all the acts were done, but I still had a good time!! Thank you all who came and saw us, and guys you were dressed well!!

Host for the evening will be Lafayette Lestrange and DJ John Wayne will be playing the music..

Dresscode will be Halloween....surprise!! =D The best costume will be awarded.. The awards will be from Olivia Rouge Shop, HiroNIA and Horror Shop!! Horror Shop will be at the venue with their goodies, so be ready to do some shopping during the evening as well!!

Teerenpeli Tease - Rebels

Oh my lovely readers!!

I'm am really really sorry, that I haven't been writing anything in a long time...but maybe my life has been boring..?? Maybe not....I just haven't had the time...

But now.. What I've been up to??

Natsumi Scarlett

Last Saturday was the best Saturday of my life in a long time...It was time for some burlesque, and wonderful people. All the way from Amsterdam arrived this wonderful, beautiful, kind and caring burlesque phenomena called Natsumi Scarlett, to keep us a burlesque workshop and later in the evening she performed at the Teerenpeli Tease with these other lovely and lovelier ladies Olivia Rouge, Cherrie A. Dorable and Marie la Mint.

In the afternoon we gathered up in the Razzmatazz dance studios at Finlayson and Natsumi showed us how to move our body..seduce with movement...through belly dancing...and I have to say I enjoyed it a lot!! Especially the one move where we did basically a hip check!! I was good at least at that, thanks to derby!! =D

From the studios, we went straight to Teerenpeli and started to get ready for the evening... The back stage was filled with glitter and laughter...and lemon teezer...once again...and we started to get in to the mood..=) The theme of the evening was Rebels so I, as a pick up, was a police officer... One fugitive got a away from me...but otherwise the shift was ok at the station.. ;)

One of the best acts I've ever (EVER) seen, was Natsumis last number, where she was this heartless doll...she had this beautiful mask and white contacts...she actually scared the hell out of me (and our poor Olli), but at the same time she was so beautiful... I actually told her that when she came close like that, she looked like a member of Cirque du Soleil... pure awesomeness. If you missed it....damn you!!!

I didn't have any time to take photos, so all I have to show you are pictures of me, that my dear friend Nelliina took of me.. I will show you more, if I find some somewhere...

X-treme Car Show & Pin Up Finland 2012

Different kinds of cars and trucks and shows got together last weekend at Xtreme Car Show, and that's where I headed.. Pin Up Finland 2012 final was held at the event as well and I was glad I got to see the awesomeness from the "first row"...

I arrived at Helsinki in the morning and got to spend my time with the girls that were in the finals...lots of hairspray and petticoats...and hugs... I don't actually remember when was the last time people screamed with joy when they saw me (maybe never??) and everyone wanted their hugs... As I've told you guys already before..I LOVE THOSE GIRLS!!

All the girls got ready and dresses were on...Me and the beautiful Joy Licious went to the audience to watch the show..and oh boy what a show it was!! Olivia and Cherrie arrived in style, in a convertable, and there were sailors, there were mechanics, there was Frankenstein!!!!!!!, there were motorcycles and there were dancers....and there were the finalists... I screamed and laughed and almost cried... After all this awesomeness the judges made up their minds and the winner was........Jenssu Suicide!!!! The first runner up was Wendy D'Ville and the second runner up was Miss Magpie.

And then it was all over....kinda.

After the show we went to the booth of Pin Up Finland and walked around the place and let people take pictures of us...and we took pictures of ourselves as well...had fun. =) We laughed a lot, we hugded a lot and then we laughed again......did I already tell you that I love these girls?!?! =D

And oh!!!! I had a nice reunion with Kunkku that I saw for the first time at the Hot Rod & Rock Show that was at Tampere last Spring. ^_^ There was lots of other cool cars as well and I took my time to take pictures of them..as usual.

Why do I get a really strong Ghostbusters-feeling from this car?????

In the evening, when the other girls started to get in the party mood, Olivia, Cherrie and I took of to the Viking Line terminal to do some burlesque shows at the Viking XPRS. There was this Nordic Rockabilly Cruise and we were excited...already at the terminal the laughing begun (like, I played a little chinese woman etc..don't ask..)....we were maybe a bit tired?? Yes

And of course, I had to have my daily Betty photos.. ^_^

The shows went great and the audience liked what they saw. And our feet were killing us! But maybe the best part of the cruise was.....food. =D We got passes and codes to enter the mess (the doors said staff only, khih..), where the staff of the boat eats..there were food 24/7..and I like food so I liked the mess. =D

After walking around in high heels for about 22hrs, the 6hrs of sleep felt like heaven. In the morning it was, surprise, breakfast at the mess again and then I just had to check out the tax free.. bought a little candy and a new perfume.

I got home in the afternoon and went straight to bed. I was so tired...but so happy! Thank you everyone who made my weekend so awesome and let's meet up soon!!! Right girls??

Pin Up Finland 2012 Semifinals

On Saturday, 11.8. was the day to have the semifinals of the Pin Up Finland 2012 competition. It was held in Alahärmä, Power Truck Show 2012. And for being a truck show, there was basically only trucks on display...

About ten of us girls spent the night before the competition in this awesome cabin, where we had our own little pond..we had so much fun, but we had to sleep also, 'cause we had an EARLY morning on Saturday.

When we arrived at Power Park it was makeup and hair from that moment until we we're rushed to a photoshoot and the on stage. All of us girls were so excited and nervous...On first round we were all on the stage at the same time and Olivia and Cherrie asked the basic questions from all...name (pinup name) and where we're from etc..then it was changing clothes fast fast fast in this little tent that was put up for us...and then we went on stage one by one. That time the lovely ladies asked us a bit more, and surprise surprise, they asked me about roller derby =D...I had fun over there...Then it was judging time....they made their decision pretty fast...which was scary.. All of us girls we're called upon the stage and Olivia and Cherrie told the eight girls that had gone through to the finals, that are held in Xtreme Car Show 1.9.2012.

I didn't get to the finals, and of course I was dissapointed. I cried, I admit, but all the girls are so wonderful persons, that I couldn't be sad so long....I'm happy for all of the girls who got to the final!! Now I can't wait to get to the event to see who wins, and have some fun with my sweethearts!! <3

It was an experience I will never forget. And I can't even explain how awesome all the girls are. I'm so proud to say I have 13 new wonderful friends..

On Saturday, 22.9., it's time to take some clothes off..again.. The third Teerenpeli Tease will take place at Teerenpeli here at Tampere. Doors open at 18.00, as usual, and the first set will start around 19.00. Tickets will be 10€ and they are available only from the door, in cash.

So..what is the theme for the evening? Rebels. Be a gangster, or a mob guy..or come as you are..is up to you. But all the performances are gonna be..well.. bad, and naughty... ;)

I will be doing the pick up for the evening, and it's my "responsibility" to keep the gals on the right path..I'm the law, you know.. ;)

Pin Up Finland 2012: Photoshoot of the semifinalists

About a week ago was THE DAY when we semifinalists of the Pin Up Finland 2012 got to finally meet each other and have a fun, fun day. We got play with make up, eye lashes, petticoats and dresses..AND SHOES!! It was time to take some pictures of the lovely ladies.

The photoshoot took place at the Angel Studios in Helsinki. I was awed when I got there...at the same space where we were taken pictures of, Finnish movies has been filmed..like all the Vares-movies...bits here and bits there..And every place where Antti Reini has been filmed, I like.. ;D

We didn't have to worry about "does this go with this?" or "how would my hair look good", 'cause we had two wonderful and awesome ladies to help us. Olivia Rouge and Cherrie A. Dorable are the producers of the competition and they will take care of us...They already have. I just love them, and I'm very glad that there has been given an opportunity to them to be part of something as cool as Pin Up Finland competition. 

The day was long, lots of waiting...but with that amount of girls with the same interests...well..you can just imagine...lots of burbing (I was glad I wasn't the only one who did it loudly, like I am the only one in my derby team..), lots of laughing and getting to know each other. I fell in love with every single one of them. 

I'm already sad, that we all can't go forward in the competition. 

And yes, it actually is a competition. We all already forgot that! The spirit with the girls is so much more than just a competing, arrogant bunch of girls. I think I say it for all of the girls when I say, GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN!!

Next time we girls get together is the semifinal, that will be held in Alahärmä, in the Power Truck Show on 10.-11.8.2012. If you guys are around, come and say hello!! I can't wait to get on that HUGE rollercoaster at Powerpark...I hope I have a chance to try it.. ^_^
